Congrats to our last Papa John's athletes of the week for the 22/23 school year. Emma Chick for Track, Courtney Russell for Softball, Haydon Minton for Baseball, and Clayton Dent for Track. I also want to thank Papa John's in West Frankfort for supporting our Athletes of the Week this school year! Congrats Redbirds!!
This week in the 5th grade we are focusing on creative writing in language! Students drew a random topic, to create a creative story! The creativity in our room is amazing!
Reminder we have graduation tonight at Max Morris for our 2023 Seniors. Doors will open at 6pm and ceremony will start at 8pm.

Be aware that there was an ambulance call to Denning Elementary School this morning due to an employee injury during the school whiffle ball game. Everyone is ok and student returned to their classes and resumed other celebration activities as the prepare to bring their school year to a close.
Phones are currently down at Denning Elementary School. We are working with the Utility Company to get the problem resolved. If you need any assistance please call the Superintendent's Office at 618-937-2421
