Look at these smiles! Thank you, Frankfort Masonic Lodge #567, for donating FOUR brand new bikes and helmets for the lucky winners of our Books for Bikes campaign. The bikes were presented to Devonn Johnson, Madelyn Whittinghill, Carter Patton, and Mary Waldron (not pictured) at our assembly this morning. Books for Bikes encouraged our students to read over 250 books during third quarter!!! We look forward to this partnership continuing in the future! 📚➡️🚲❤️

Sign ups will be coming up soon for Future Champions volleyball!!! This is open to any current 2nd - 5th grader, boy or girl. All spaces are on a first come basis. Last year we had a total of 67 participants from FIS, Denning, Bluford, Christopher, Crab Orchard, Goreville, Marion, St. John’s, Thompsonville, Johnston City, Herrin, and Benton. Practices will be Thursday and Friday nights from 5pm - 8pm and games will start in April. The season is from March 24 - May 2.

Announcement: Frankfort Intermediate School is on board Z-100’s Change for a Cure, formerly known as the Quest for a Million Pennies! Until March 20th, we will be collecting money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Students can bring in pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and bills! 100% of the money collected will go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Each classroom has a collection tub where students can put their change. The money will be collected and counted weekly. The classroom with the highest total by March 20th will receive either an ice cream or pizza party! This is a wonderful cause, and we are proud to be on board Z-100’s Change for a Cure! In our first three weeks, our school raised $490.79 for St. Jude so thank you for your support! Let’s keep this up!
