Bella works hard and often chooses to work on i-Ready during her free time in the classroom. Her dedication is paying off!

Congratulations to our 3rd/4th Brain Games team for placing 5th in the ROE's competition today at JALC!! The top 6 teams advanced to the regional competition which will be held in April. The team is made up of third graders Roman Rich & Hartley Brown and fourth graders Elowyn Farley & Chloe Little. The team was accompanied by Mrs. Pietrantoni. This team is the first FIS team to advance since the competition started! Way to represent FIS! We are so proud of our smart little Birds!! ❤️🤓🩶

Today was our first PBIS assembly and Dolly Day. Everyone looked Dolly-rific!! Students were treated to a fun day for all the Respect they have shown this month. Shout out to the FCHS athletes that came to celebrate with us!
This week in 3rd grade students are reading and learning about the importance of voting in an election. Students in Mrs. Pietrantoni's class had a mock election in class today.

5th graders are learning about early people groups. Using their resources and creativity was an important part of everyday life. Working with our hands was lots of fun.

EARLY DISMISSAL
Character Day in 3rd grade!
From FCHS: the motor on the elevator at FCHS had an electrical fire. Students were evacuated and all were safely moved to the gym. FCHS ONLY will be dismissed for the day so we can fleae the smoke. All other schools remain in session.
